Charitable Efforts
At our Peace Frogs store in Panama City Beach we have strived to find as many products as possible that are earth friendly, fair trade made or have a charitable contribution connected with their manufacture. In this way each purchase of these items has the potential to do some small good.
At the heart and soul of our store is our line of Peace Frogs clothing and accessories. Peace Frogs, the manufacturer, has made a huge commitment to charitable giving and the environment and we are very proud to be associated with their efforts.
A percentage of all sales of Peace Frogs manufactured clothing and accessories are donated to help the environment and other great causes.

The Peace Frogs amphibian research fellowship was established in 1996 with the Organization of Tropical Studies. Through this affiliation, Peace Frogs is able to help preserve the future of our environment.

FAIR TRADE MADE
At Peace Frogs we also support Fair Trade principles. Fair Trade is based on the belief that when people understand that trade can be a force for positive change they will use their purchasing power to improve the lives of people and communities. Fair trade principles demand that individuals are paid fair compensation, have safe and healthy working conditions and workplaces free from discrimination and forced child labor. Fair trade principles value the application of economic, social, and environmentally sustainable practices. No manufacturing today should compromise the future of the next generation.
To date we have two lines of products at Peace Frogs that are certified as Fair Trade Made.
Earth Divas - A line of purses made by a women’s cooperative in Tibet. Producing the Earth Diva bags allow women in a largely rural region to earn income from their homes where they care for their families. These purses are made primarily of hemp, a sustainable and indigenous product of the region, and recycled silk and cashmere.
Far Fetched - A line of sterling silver jewelry, copper and brass made by artisans in Taxco Mexico. Far Fetched is committed to Fair Trade principles and ensures that the artisans are provided fair wages and provided safe work conditions in this emerging economy.
